Privacy Policy

RavenText is an AI coaching service for men's texting and dating communication. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why, who processes it, and what rights you have. We believe you deserve to know exactly what happens with your information.

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Falco Labs L.L.C. (d/b/a RavenText), a Wyoming limited liability company with registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use RavenText:

  • Email address and access code: used to identify your account and log you in.
  • Chat messages: the text you send to the AI coach, across web and Telegram.
  • Screenshots and images: photos you upload in chat (for example, screenshots of conversations you want coaching on).
  • Voice notes: audio messages you send via Telegram or the web app.
  • Session memory: automated summaries of your coaching patterns, extracted from your conversations (see Section 6 below).
  • Nickname: a display name you choose if you opt into the leaderboard.
  • Leaderboard stats: streaks, message counts, and activity scores, collected only if you opt in.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full card details.
  • Quiz responses: your answers during the texting archetype quiz.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • AI coaching: your messages, images, and voice notes are sent to AI providers to generate coaching responses.
  • Session memory extraction: every 30 minutes, an automated process scans idle conversations, extracts patterns about your texting style, and saves a summary. This summary is injected into future coaching sessions so the AI remembers your situation. This constitutes automated profiling under GDPR Article 22.
  • Streak and stats tracking: to show you your progress and consistency.
  • Email reminders: to nudge you back if you have not chatted in a while. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Push notifications: browser-based notifications about coaching activity. You control this in your browser settings.
  • Marketing emails: only if you have opted in via MailerLite. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Fraud prevention and service improvement.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share data with the following processors, strictly for the purposes described:

  • Anthropic (San Francisco, USA): primary AI provider. Your messages and images are sent to their API to generate coaching responses.
  • Google (USA): fallback AI provider, used when the primary provider is unavailable.
  • OpenRouter (USA): secondary fallback AI provider.
  • Groq (USA): voice transcription. Your voice notes are sent to their Whisper API and converted to text.
  • OpenAI (USA): fallback voice transcription provider.
  • Stripe (USA): payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Resend (USA): transactional email delivery (reminders, access codes, account notifications).
  • MailerLite (Lithuania/USA): marketing email automation. Only receives your email if you opt in.
  • Hetzner (Germany): server hosting. All chat data, session memories, and account information are stored on a private Hetzner server.

Screenshots and images are sent to AI providers in real time for analysis. These providers process them to generate a response but do not permanently store them. Voice notes are sent to Groq (or OpenAI as fallback) for transcription and are not retained by those providers after processing.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is used only to provide and improve the coaching service.

6. Session Memory and Automated Profiling

RavenText uses automated profiling to improve your coaching experience. Here is how it works:

  • Every 30 minutes, an automated process checks for conversations that have been idle for at least one hour with four or more messages.
  • It extracts patterns from those conversations: your texting tendencies, situations you are dealing with, progress you have made.
  • These summaries are saved as text files on our server and injected into the AI's context for your future sessions.

The purpose is to give the AI coach continuity, so it remembers your situation across sessions instead of starting from scratch every time. You have the right to object to this automated profiling, request a copy of your memory files, or request their deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

7. Leaderboard

The leaderboard is opt-in only. If you choose to participate, you pick an anonymous nickname. No real names, emails, or identifying information are displayed to other users. You can opt out at any time.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We keep this minimal:

  • Session cookie: an HTTP-only cookie with a 30-day expiration. This keeps you logged in. It cannot be read by JavaScript.
  • Theme preference: stored in your browser's localStorage (light or dark mode). This is not a cookie and is never sent to our server.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising pixels on the coaching app.

9. Data Retention

  • Chat data and session memories: stored on our private Hetzner server for as long as your subscription is active.
  • After cancellation: your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe, then deleted.
  • On request: we will delete all your data (messages, memories, account) within 30 days of receiving your request.
  • Payment records: retained as required by tax and accounting law.

10. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, we extend the following rights to all users. If you are in the EEA, these are your rights under the GDPR:

  • Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, including chat history and session memory files.
  • Correction: request that we fix inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: request that we delete your account and all associated data.
  • Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object to automated profiling: you can ask us to stop the session memory extraction process for your account.
  • Restrict processing: request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent (for example, marketing emails), you can withdraw at any time.

11. Data Security

Your data is stored on a private server (Hetzner, Germany) with encrypted connections (TLS). Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Access to the server and database is restricted to authorized personnel only.

12. Age Requirement

RavenText is for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

13. International Data Transfers

Your data is hosted in Germany (Hetzner) but processed by AI providers based in the United States (Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, Groq, OpenAI). By using RavenText, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in the USA. These transfers are necessary to provide the coaching service.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you by email.
